Bellagio Hotel Review

Bellagio, Las Vegas, owned by MGM Mirage is the epitome of luxury and grandeur. As a result, for eight consecutive years, the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award has been bestowed upon this magnificent hotel. Opulent, swanky, and prestigious, Bellagio holds the distinction of being the only hotel in the US with two restaurants worthy of the highly desirable award. And if that is not enough to show their attention to detail, the hotel is also known for its James Beard Award-winning restaurant and four James Beard Award-winning chefs.

Landscaping and grounds are equally majestic, as the property is home to the wonderful Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens where you might stroll along pretty foot bridges, view hundreds of rare plants, and view splendid seasonal displays perfectly designed by one hundred and forty horticulturists. Each season brings a new masterpiece to explore.

Broadway, opera, and classical music complement the breathtaking display of choreographed water and light from the Fountains of Bellagio. Shows are offered every half hour throughout the day and after eight PM, every fifteen minutes. So that everyone can enjoy this unique marvel of water, light and music, there is no charge for the lavish spectacle.

Bellagio is a self-contained property with everything found in the most luxurious cities on earth. Its own Gallery of Fine Art, impeccably manicured golf course with wandering creeks, five different poolside settings that whisk guests off to some faraway land, massage treatments to indulge the senses, fabulous shopping, grand meeting and convention areas, and a stupendous hotel lobby elaborately decorated with over two thousand hand-blown glass flowers dangling in colorful splendor from the ceiling.

Weddings at Bellagio are glamorous affairs in two chapels intricately decorated with “genuinely unique enhancements including architectural sconces, graceful hand-blown glass chandeliers crafted by Italy's famed Sereotto family, lavish draperies, and amethyst glass windows traced with gold leaf and Italian stained glass”. Live broadcasts of the wedding are available and no two weddings are booked concurrently out of respect for the couple's treasured day.

Nightlife is plentiful with six bars including “The Bank”, Las Vegas' premier nightlife destination. And do not be fooled by the word bar because like the rest of the hotel, these clubs are just as extravagant offering first class service. And of course, a major hotel in Las Vegas would not be complete without the casino, a sophisticated environment with table games, slot machines, race and sports book wagering, and the World Poker Tour.

Entering Bellagio and staying at this fine hotel is truly a marvelous experience but leaving will be difficult to do.
