My Las Vegas Hotel Reviews

Four Seasons Hotel Review

Four Seasons Hotel, Las Vegas, managed by Canadian company Four Seasons Hotels, Inc, but owned by Mandalay Bay of MGM Mirage, is best know for its quiet solitude. A small, luxury hotel with just over four hundred rooms and suites occupying the tower of Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons offers no gaming whatsoever. Sitting on the thirty-fifth to thirty-ninth floors, and designed with floor to ceiling windows, the views of the desert, mountains, gardens and The Strip are absolutely stunning.

In January 2009, Condé Nast Traveler, the luxury travel magazine, named the hotel number one in Vegas on their Gold List and remarked, “this non-gaming property is kid-friendly yet adult-pampering”. When reading online reviews from actual guests of the property, one quickly realizes that the grandest compliment for the hotel is the peace and quiet it exudes. Each forum's posters feel that when they walk off the elevators into their room or suite, they immediately feel a sense of relief from the hustle and bustle below. The Four Seasons' room is their private sanctuary or oasis.

Continuing with its theme of solitude, the Four Seasons' spa is indulgent with elegantly appointed furnishings and wall décor, a separate relaxation room for both men and women, eucalyptus steam rooms, and a Zen lounge. Open twelve hours daily, the spa offers its own signature services including Everlasting Flower Stone Facial, Desert Oasis Body Treatment, Desert Flower Stone Massage and Vitality of the Glaciers Facial. And of course to make a romantic holiday perfect, the spa caters to couples' treatments offering extra specials such as champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

Although considered informal dining, Verandah restaurant, is extravagantly and beautifully decorated like a Mediterranean mansion and offers both inside and outside seating. The lovely outside terrace overlooks the gardens and pool. The hotel's other restaurant has established itself as “as one of the most innovative steakhouses in Las Vegas” and was voted “Best Steakhouse in Vegas” by the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Because of the hotel's serene atmosphere and attention to detail, weddings held in this venue are majestic and royal. From the Four Seasons' Grand Staircase to the lovely outdoor Fountain Terrace, all special events rooms are appropriately and lavishly decorated to create the right ambiance regardless of a small or large wedding guest list. In addition to the on-site French pastry chef, and large catering services, the Four Seasons also offers a kosher kitchen.

Whatever the relaxation request, Four Seasons is only too happy to comply.
